Düsseldorf hosts more European headquarters of Japanese companies than any city. It also has a Japanese school, a cherry blossom festival, and a Nikko Hotel. This luxury Japanese hotel is halfway between the Königsallee and the Hauptbahnhof. Rooms are luxurious. The fitness center, with swimming pool on the 11th floor, offers grand views of the city. The hotel has a branch of famed Japanese department store Mitsukoshi. The Benkay restaurant serves Japanese cuisine.
